Engine Mount Installation Instructions
After years of design and testing we are finally proud to announce the release of this complete motor mount solution. This kit includes a pre-assembled engine side mount, transmission mount insert, and dogbone mount insert - offering the most economical and best performing total mount solution out there.
The passenger mount will completely replace your old, tired, hydraulic engine-side motor mount. The weakest of the 3 engine mounts, the passenger side is fluid filled by Volkswagen/Audi to aid in creating a softer, cushier ride.
This softness is a detriment to performance and overall longevity as the fluid within the mount can often cause premature failure. By eliminating this dampening with the installation of a full polyurethane mount you are allowing more of the power from your engine to be transferred to the wheels through a more reliable and durable mount.
Maximizing bushing area to minimize vibration where possible gives our mount the advantage of having the best ride characteristics possible from a urethane bushing mount.
Both the dogbone and the transmission mount inserts utilize your existing factory motor mount brackets to reduce cost while still offering the best performance possible.
Stage 1 with its 65a durometer bushings are geared towards the spirited enthusiast who wants better control over motor movement without the sacrifice of excessive vibrations. Its our recommendation for all 4cyl street cars.
Stage 2 with its 85a durometer bushings are more for the hardcore enthusiast who is more concerned with performance than cabin vibration great for spirited runs and track cars.
Each complete replacement mount comes with two bushings, one 304 stainless base plate, one 6061 aluminum center bracket, and all washers and hardware necessary to mount to your vehicle.
Fits all Mk4 6 cylinder vehicles as well as TT . Please specify Year / Make / Model / Engine for your vehicle.
