BFI Stg I Polyurethane Motor Mount Kit
Description
These are poly, 85A in shore hardness, and are a huge upgrade over the stock swiss cheese rubber mounts. Stage I is for a higher level of performance, over our Stage .5.
They still offer a good ride quality, with some increased vibration over OEM. Upgraded harware is included with all motor mounts. We highly recomend replacing the transmission mount when installed these mounts. A g60 solid rubber is the minimum, while our Stage1 trans mount is a perfect fit.

These mounts were removed from a 2.0 with less than 100k on the clock. Notice the mount is noticeably "squished" vs. the stock mount. Over time the weight and movement of the engine can compress the stock mount from 1/4" (shown) to 1/2" - or even more in some cases! Damage tends to be worse on higher milage cars as well as VR6 engines.
